Chia Jam

Chia jam is full of healthy fats and fibre and so easy to make. Chia seeds are around 20% protein which makes it the perfect snack when when mixed with yogurt.

Prep time: 5 mins
Cook time: 5 mins

Ingredients

– Juice of one lemon
– 2 punnets of berries (strawberries, raspberries or blueberries) organic fresh or frozen
– 4 tbsp of chia seeds

Step 1
Smash up your berries in the juice of one lemon over medium heat.

Step 2
Mix in your chia seeds.

Step 3
Lower the heat right down to preserve the nutritional content of the chia seeds and stir for 3-4 mins until it’s a nice jam like consistency.

Eat while it’s warm or keep it for later.

Perfect on toast minus the sugar.
